Medical Equipment Driver & Customer Service (Storm Lake & Fort Dodge)
Coordinates and organizes daily deliveries to ensure all customers receive accurate and timely delivery of their medications or supplies. Maintains safe driving techniques and abides by all traffic laws. Provides each customer with efficient, personalized, and friendly care. Represents the organization by showing compassion to each customer and respecting all privacy laws. Reports to the Purchasing Manager.
Anticipated Schedule
- Monday ‑ Friday, full‑time or part‑time
Qualifications
- Required:
Valid Iowa driver’s license - Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent - Preferred:
Experience in operating a cash register

Essential Functions
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly delivery service by exhibiting care, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Drive safely and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with other pharmacy team members to coordinate patient deliveries to meet the needs of our customers and long‑term care facilities
- Encourage patients to call the pharmacy with any questions or concerns
- Pay attention to all delivery notes on prescriptions and follow directions accordingly
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to privacy practices for protected health information
- Ensure no medication delivery is left unattended and a patient signature is always documented with each delivery
- Make change when necessary using quick mental math; conduct safe money handling
- Assist with other pharmacy and retail duties as assigned
