Business Office Manager – Part‑time

Job DescriptionResponsible for the completion of all business office tasks performed at the location.
EssentialJob Duties
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance, and Managed Insurance processes covering Medicaid applications, documentation requirements, Medicare practices, and Insurance Authorization processes.
- Knowledge of PCC is a plus.
- Management of the Resident Fund Management System.
- Direct communication with the Billing Company regarding all Accounts Receivable accounts.
- Manage multiple priorities and maintain regular attendance.
- Associate degree in accounting, healthcare administration, or business management or high school diploma with at least 2 years of business office experience (may substitute degree requirement).
- Supervisor and healthcare billing experience preferred.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Experience as office manager in a healthcare setting.
- Two‑year degree in Business or Accounting.
- Software proficiency: working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Office is required.
- Experience utilizing Point Click Care software is a plus.
- Strong mathematical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Demonstrated ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Honest, fair, dependable, respecting confidentiality and the privacy of others.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
