Iowa Home Care is hiring a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time evening position in Cumming.

What You'll DoYou’ll provide hands-on assistance based on each patient's individual plan of care. Responsibilities may include:

Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene

Help with toileting and other personal care needs

Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility

Take and document vital signs as directed

Assist with catheter and G-tube care as trained and directed

Help with light housekeeping related to the patient's care Assist with laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment

Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE procedures

Watch for changes in the patient's condition and communicate concerns to the nursing team Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support

Respect each patient's privacy, routines, preferences, and dignity

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
