What to Expect

Tesla is looking for an exceptional Recruiter to support our Manufacturing Engineering teams. We hire the talent responsible for developing next-generation products, automating manufacturing lines, and the "machine that builds the machine". Recruiting at Tesla is challenging; hiring timelines are often compressed, but the work is exciting and impactful to our mission. This role is 100% onsite at our Sparks, NV location.

Alternatively, role can be based out of Buffalo, NY or Lathrop, CA sites.

• Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and advise on the best hiring strategy
• Efficiently manage time and resources while keeping business partners informed through regular updates
• Use a variety of techniques and creativity to discover and attract the best passive talent
• Conduct thorough behavioral based interviews and phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills to be successful in the Tesla environment
• Focus on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity

• Onsite at Gigafactory Nevada which is in the Tahoe/Reno region of Northwest Nevada. Alternatively, role can be based onsite at our Buffalo, NY or Lathrop, CA locations
• High volume, technical recruiting experience with the ability to efficiently manage an average of 25+ technical, niche requisitions
• Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience, from either a corporate or agency environment, using an ATS and Microsoft Office
• Experience in recruiting engineers or niche, skilled roles + leaders across manufacturing, facilities, or construction
• Demonstrated track record of excellence in full cycle recruiting from sourcing and assessing technical talent to offer negotiation, maintaining awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends
• Ability to lead projects to successful conclusion - balancing efficiency with quality
• Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment
