The AI Architect will join our consulting team for a strategic engagement focused on advancing Generative AI maturity within a large enterprise organization.

• Provide architectural leadership, establish standards, and drive the adoption of enterprise-level Generative AI practices
• Develop relationships and build trust
• Enterprise Standards Development
  • Lead the creation and documentation of Generative AI architectural standards
  • Define standards for AI agent platforms, frameworks, and tooling
  • Establish observability and monitoring best practices for AI systems
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation
• Strategic Architecture & Thought Leadership
  • Provide thought leadership on industry best practices for Generative AI
  • Partner with client teams to deliver strategic guidance and support
  • Drive adoption of Generative AI practices across the enterprise
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends
• Application Archetypes & Patterns
  • Design and document architecture diagrams for common AI use cases
  • Create reusable patterns and reference architectures
  • Define application archetypes for various Generative AI implementations
• Model Lifecycle Management
  • Document best practices for large vs. small language model selection
  • Define processes for model approval including security and legal review workflows
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI model deployment

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with 2+ years focused on AI/ML
• Deep expertise in Generative AI technologies, LLMs, and AI agent frameworks
• Experience with AI observability and monitoring platforms
• Knowledge of model governance and compliance frameworks
• Previous consulting experience in advisory/strategic roles
• Proven experience establishing enterprise-wide technical standards
• Strong background in highly regulated or enterprise environments
• Excellent communication skills

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $90/hr-$110/hr actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
