IS Database Developer II
Join Care Oregon’s IS team as an IS Database Developer II. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing database and ETL processes to support business strategies and Care Oregon’s evolving data ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain custom databases and ETL processes.
- Lead small projects and collaborate with IS teams on database design best practices.
- Analyze business requirements, research solutions, and recommend risks and mitigation.
- Document technology designs, operations, and standards for consistency.
- Participate in vendor research, present recommendations, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Align work with Care Oregon’s mission, vision, equity, diversity, inclusion, and compliance policies.
- Minimum 3 years of database and ETL development experience.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS or Informatica, Visual Studio, and unit/integration testing.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling (for data warehouse roles).
- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
