Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager. The PM is responsible for overall management and execution of turnkey electrical projects and supports the sales team, senior project managers, and regional manager during the front‑end sales process to ensure a seamless transition from quote into execution. Multiple openings exist; candidates may be considered for the West or Southeast region depending on location.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93,000–165,000, depending on location. The position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary information is a guideline; final compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and market factors.
What You’ll DoThe purpose of this position is to provide project management expertise in electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical aspects of large turnkey electrical construction projects. Responsibilities include providing leadership to teams of designers, engineers, construction managers, and contractors; managing project scope, schedule, costs, and profit/loss; developing and maintaining financial controls; and ensuring safe work environments.
Skills and Responsibilities- Contract and subcontract knowledge and experience.
- Ability to implement project financial controls.
- Responsibility for project profit, loss, and forecast.
- Knowledge and skills to manage project scope changes.
- Ability to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Ability to create, prioritize and maintain project action item lists.
- Ability to maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
- Knowledge, understanding, and execution of turnkey projects.
- Construction estimating and sales support.
- Ability to work with and manage design teams.
- Ability to improve subcontractor efficiencies.
- Ability to manage subcontractor budgets.
- Ability to manage safe work environment and program including job site safety analysis, rigging plans, environmental risk planning, job audits, confined space programs and lock‑and‑tag procedures.
- Strong customer service knowledge.
- Contingency planning expertise and knowledge.
- Ability to maintain accurate as‑built documentation and punch lists.
- Document control experience and expertise.
- BS or AS in civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Scheduling software.
- Knowledge and Experience in Electrical SWGR / Power Distribution, Power System Engineering, Automation, and Controls.
- Strong computer skills – SharePoint, One Note, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

- Must be located in CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, UT, CO, the West Region or NC, SC, FL, GA, TN, or KY for the Southeast Region; no relocation offered.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
- Collaborative & people‑focused.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Highly organized and skilled in time management.
- Background in construction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, ANSI, NETA, NERC/FERC, NESC.
