The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team.

Essential Job Functions:

* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets, considering regulatory requirements and industry standards.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.

* Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

* Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary resources.

* Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts.

* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.

* Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all project activities adhere to safety standards.

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

* Provide regular project updates and address concerns promptly.

* Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects and implement strategies to mitigate them.

* Monitor and enforce quality standards for all project deliverables.

* Oversee contract compliance and ensure that projects align with contractual obligations.

* Manage change orders and negotiate contracts as needed.

* Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project records.

* Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

* Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.

* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the utility industry.

* Knowledge of utility construction methods, regulations, and industry standards.

* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
