Plant Operator – Koch Fertilizer

What You Will Do- Champion the PBM philosophy to develop team capability; drive culture within the team.
- Monitor plant parameters and identify opportunities for correction and improvement.
- Leverage technology and systems to gather and interpret critical data points.
- Assist with permitting plans, daily LOTO plans, schedule updates, and operating procedure updates.
- Develop and maintain operations excellence, process optimization, plant safety, personal safety, environmental compliance, product quality, and other applicable compliance areas.
- Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment and process issues, collaborating with process engineers and maintenance teams.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
- Work at heights up to 100 feet; climb stairs/ladders; lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; push and pull up to 150 lbs.; wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Required to wear full face respirator, hard hat, steel‑toed safety footwear, safety glasses, flame‑retardant long‑sleeve shift and pants, leather gloves, positive and negative respirators, chemical and rain suits, gloves, and safety harness as applicable.
- Work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions.
- Climb stairs and ladders on vessels, columns, and scaffolds exceeding 160 feet.
- Willing and able to meet the physical requirements listed above.
- Work a rotating 12‑hour shift including weekends, holidays, overtime, and callouts.
- Experience in a process or manufacturing plant.
- Experience or knowledge with DCS, PLC, or SCADA controls.
- Experience using technology to gather and interpret data and information.
This role is subject to a pre‑hire medical test.
