Location: Nevada
Shift: 1pm – 10pm
Monday through Friday, +Weekends as Production Schedule Requires
Pay Rate: $21.69 per hour + $1 Shift Differential
All team members must abide by all of Burke's Plant Safety Rules!
Responsibilities- Supplies meat to the Grindroom from the meat receiving coolers via pallet jack
- Inspect product
- Grinds meat
- Removes pallets and trash from the Grindroom
- Operates a metal detector belt and auger
- Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (Training will be provided)
- Work in temperatures 40–50 degrees and 32 degrees in the cooler
- Being able to operate an electric pallet jack (In-house training provided)
- Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced
- Being able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to do repetitive tasks
- Standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and down
- Operating food processing equipment
- Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (Additional pay provided for higher pay grade position)
- Basic Math skills
- Perform any and all duties assigned by Supervisor
- 6 months of work history
