Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assemblers for a manufacturing company in Estherville, Iowa. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble power cable products according to established specifications while helping maintain quality and safety standards. If you enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, using tools, and working both independently and as part of a team, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

• Assemble power cables, junction boxes, and related components according to established specifications
• Safely operate automatic equipment, hand tools, and power tools throughout the assembly process
• Use proper torque settings and follow production guidelines for each product
• Inspect and assemble products to meet established quality and safety standards
• Read work orders, specifications, and other workshop documents
• Complete basic measurements and calculations as needed
• Follow company safety procedures, production requirements, and quality standards

• Ability to read work orders and specifications and understand assembly requirements
• Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and automatic equipment
• Basic math and measuring skills, including the ability to accurately use a ruler
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours throughout the workday
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and turn consistently throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 1-75 lbs. intermittently, following required mechanical-assist and team-lifting procedures for heavy lifting
• Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
