• Accept responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day operation and support of all clinical nursing staff.
• Evaluate, revise, and implement clinical policies and procedures related to safe and efficient quality nursing care.
• Maintain clinical staff personnel and education records, provide in‑services, and perform clinical staff functions.
• Recruit, interview, evaluate, train, and serve as preceptor/mentor of clinical personnel.
• Attend quarterly clinic nursing meetings as needed and distribute information appropriately.
• Conduct counseling of employees and handle complaints and clinical employee performance appraisals as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
• Assist in maintaining the department budget by monitoring supplies and capital equipment purchases.
• Perform duties of Medical Assistant, Clinic Nurse, and Clinic RN (including scribing) as outlined in those job descriptions.

• A current Iowa License as a Registered Nurse is required.
• An Associate’s degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• Must have demonstrated competency as an RN through a minimum of three years of experience.
• Supervisory experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.
