We are looking for an LPN currently enrolled in an RN program! We are able to provide a flexible schedule to help with going back to school. Please apply now if you are currently enrolled in an RN program with an expected graduation date of December 2024! Job Summary
Provide quality care in a hospital setting to all patients served by PACHS. Assess patient's condition and nursing needs; prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet the needs of the patient, including patient teaching and discharge planning; records pertinent patient observations and reactions accurately and concisely. Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Strict confidentiality with medical records and related information is required.
Education/Requirements/Knowledge/Skills:
- Must possess current Iowa LPN license
- Must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
- Currently in LPN to RN program - Graduate expected Dec. 2024
- RN Boards must be passed within 1 year of graduation date
- Minimum 2 years of LPN Experience
- Inpatient Hospital experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of computers and other office equipment
- Current BLS, PALS, ACLS preferred
