Travel RN - Leadership - Nurse Manager

American Traveler is hiring a Director of Nursing to serve as interim leadership in a long-term care setting, requiring 2+ years of relevant experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
• BSN not required for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

• Post-acute, long-term care (RNC unit) setting
• 13-week assignment with day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Serves as interim Director of Nursing and will work the floor as needed to cover shifts
• Uses a computerized charting system not listed among standard EMRs
• Oversee nursing operations and staffing coverage as interim Director of Nursing
• Step in to work the floor as needed to ensure adequate shift coverage
• Must reside within an 80-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• 2 week's notice required for cancellation
