Conservation Aides Summer

This is a part-time seasonal position working 32-40 hrs. per week from April through September. Specific start and end dates can be flexible.

Location of Openings: Hannen Lake Park, Rodgers Park, and Wildcat Bluff Recreation Area

Position Responsibilities:

• General park maintenance and facility maintenance
• Mowing, trimming and trail maintenance
• Cleaning restrooms
• Helping with environmental education programs
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and

Skills Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate various maintenance equipment such as zero turn mowers, hand tools, and truck and trailer.

Preferred

Skills:

• Preference will be given to applicants working towards a degree in Natural Resources or another related field.

This position will sometimes require working overtime, including non-traditional hours, weekends and holidays.
