• Make visual and measured inspection of products most of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements
• May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
• May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods. Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment
• Complete inspection records and reports
• Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards
• Follows all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected
• Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months
• Under supervision of a Level II or III Certified NDT Inspector
