NASDA is seeking part‑time capable individuals to support our organization by collecting accurate, unbiased agricultural data and conducting crop counts for state and local research studies. Prior experience in sales or agriculture, strong communication skills, and basic mathematical ability are highly desirable.

• Conduct in‑depth in‑person and telephone interviews with agricultural operators and explain survey benefits.
• Perform crop counts in designated corn or soybean fields.
• Enter detailed data from field interviews into data systems promptly.
• Report daily progress, time, and mileage.
• Obtain on‑the‑job training and maintain a high level of data quality.

• Private workspace with a functional telephone and minimal distractions.
• Own vehicle for travel related to field duties.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in computer systems and/or iPad use.
• Ability to examine crop status, lift/carry up to 40 lbs., walk up to 100 yards on uneven ground.
• Ability to travel up to 250 miles quarterly for training.
• Must pass a background check.
• Experience in a deadline‑driven environment with multiple tasks is desired.

Starts at $17.75 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement and required supplies. Provided comprehensive training and opportunities for professional advancement.
