Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to serve as the key in-office member of our sales team. This individual will act as the central point of contact between customers, the sales group, and operations. The ideal candidate will ensure customer requests are handled promptly, advocate for customer needs internally, and help hold operations accountable to deliver on commitments.
This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to represent the sales team in day-to-day interactions across the company.
- Serve as the in-office point of contact for the sales team, customers, and internal departments.
- Manage and respond to customer inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage open leads and delegate to the global sales team in a timely and professional manner
- Accurately capture customer requirements and ensure they are communicated to the appropriate teams.
- Track and follow up on project and order timelines, holding operations accountable to deadlines and commitments.
- Advocate for customer needs within the organization, ensuring quality service and satisfaction.
- Support the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and order documentation as needed.
- Monitor customer accounts and maintain accurate records in CRM systems or other company tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and internal communication.
- Provide feedback from customers to the sales and leadership teams to support continuous improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management (B2B experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools. Salesforce experience a plus.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently as the sole in-office sales representative.
