Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Engineering Services to drive growth and manage strategic client relationships within the food, beverage, and consumer products manufacturing sectors. This leadership role combines business development, account management, and capital project oversight to support clients' engineering, equipment, and facility initiatives.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000  Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage client accounts and develop long-term business relationships

Drive revenue growth, profitability, and strategic account plans

Oversee P&L performance for capital execution projects

Lead contract negotiations and stakeholder management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions

Develop and deliver client presentations

Travel as needed, including short-notice visits

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience in consumer products, food, beverage, or related industries7+ years of business development, sales, account management, or client leadership experience3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience

Proven experience managing client relationships, cross-functional stakeholders, and contracts

Preferred:

Food or beverage manufacturing experienceCRM proficiency and social media business development skills

Revenue forecasting experiencePMP certification

Capital project portfolio management expertise
