As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalade in environments such as a security operations center, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Full‑time, 2nd Shift, Sunday, Tuesday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $17.00 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report‑writing skills.
• Good eyesight and excellent focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better.
• Must be available to work holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain/maintain an IA state private security license (Garda World will help to obtain).
