As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Amana, IA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conducting mobile patrols and responding to incidents to help maintain a secure environment. This driving post requires you to remain visible and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and caring for people.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on patrol.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as needed within the industrial environment.

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
