Maintenance Mechanic (Mobile Equipment)This position will perform preventative maintenance on the company’s equipment, including tractors, trailers, heavy and agricultural equipment. They will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining all company rolling stock. This position is a full-time hourly non-exempt position.

- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical defects of equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various pieces of equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues in equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics.
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience in maintenance.
- Ability to work under adverse conditions (dust, extreme heat and cold, wind, rain, ice, snow, etc.).
- Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Physical activity includes stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to utilize a telephone for communication with internal customers.
- Work in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority. Promote a work environment that is safe for everyone.
- Valid Class A CDL, with Hazmat preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- One year experience with diesel engine, diesel maintenance, and diesel electrical repair a plus.
- Provide maintenance repairs and assigned preventative maintenance on company vehicles, trailers, and equipment on and off job sites.
- Work under limited supervision, written instructions, and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisition of new parts.
- Purchase tools and materials with management approval.
- Ensure daily vehicle maintenance and conduct safety checks on vehicles/equipment.
- Perform all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Complete required documentation utilizing e-maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Maintain parts inventory through e-maintenance software program.
- Build reports and explain workflows.
- Review and complete repairs identified on the Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards.
- Operate all equipment.
- Assist with delivery of materials/tools to and from job sites, as needed.
- Participate in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The VERBIO Nevada Biorefinery, located in Nevada, Iowa (USA), is the first industrial‑scale renewable natural gas (RNG) facility in North America using agricultural residues as its feedstock. The plant is 100 % owned by VERBIO North America Holdings Corporation.
