NASDA Part-time Field Enumerator - Dickenson

NASDA Part-time Field Enumerator – Dickenson County is a part‑time position with NASDA – National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.

We are looking for candidates to support agricultural producers by collecting accurate, unbiased data through interviews and crop counts.

• Conduct in‑depth interviews with agricultural operations in person and over the telephone.
• Perform crop counts in designated fields.
• Enter collected data into computer systems or iPad within the required timeframe.
• Report daily progress, time, and mileage.
• Participate in comprehensive training for animal and plant health studies, farming practices, and questionnaire administration.

• Prior experience in sales or agriculture is desirable.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Private workspace with a functional telephone and minimal distractions.
• Personal vehicle for travel up to 250 miles on a quarterly basis.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in computer systems and/or iPads.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 lbs and walk unassisted on uneven ground for up to 100 yards.
• Experience in a deadline‑driven environment with multiple tasks.
• Ability to examine crop status in corn or soybean fields.
• Pass a background check.
