Wind Turbine Nacelle & Hub Wiring Specialist Join a team turning 100% renewable energy from vision into reality. In this hands-on role, you’ll install and wire electrical systems inside wind turbine nacelles and hubs—control panels, sensors, and harnesses—while upholding stringent quality, safety, and environmental standards.

1st (Mon–Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm) or 2nd (Mon–Fri, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm)
A Day in the Life You start by reviewing work instructions and electrical schematics for the next turbine. With your tools calibrated, you route harnesses through the nacelle, mount and wire control panels, and connect sensors. You verify continuity with test equipment, document results, and keep your work area spotless. You collaborate with Engineering and Quality on process refinements, jump in to support mechanical assembly when needed, and help investigate any connectivity issues with PQA and Engineering—always with safety first.

What You’ll Do Assemble and integrate electrical components inside turbine nacelles and hubs.

Route, secure, and connect wiring harnesses, connectors, and control systems.

Use meters and diagnostic tools to verify electrical continuity and system function.

Maintain an orderly workstation and follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries.

Meet or exceed production targets by completing tasks within set time frames.

Move, lift, and position materials to support assembly operations.

Partner with Engineering and Quality to refine assembly methods and documentation.

Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist other production areas and mechanical assembly as needed.

Work with PQA and Engineering on root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of connectivity issues.

Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You Bring High school diploma or GED.Electrical certifications or formal technical training.
3+ years in electrical assembly or manufacturing; wind, industrial, or automotive systems experience is valuable.

Ability to read work instructions, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Experience with overhead cranes and the ability to obtain and maintain crane operator certification (required).Comfort with multimeters, crimping tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Willingness to pursue relevant electrical safety certifications.

Ability to pass a respiratory fit test (as required) and work iliarity with ISO 9000:2000 Quality System is a plus.
