Parts ASAP is hiring a Shop & Yard Technician to join our team in Fort Atkinson, IA. If you like working with your hands, being outdoors, and figuring out how machines go together (and come apart), this is the job for you.

You’ll dismantle tractors and agricultural equipment, salvage quality parts, and help keep our yard running smoothly. Every part you pull gets a second life on a farm somewhere.

• Tear down tractors and ag equipment. Carefully dismantle machines to save as many good parts as possible.
• Inspect parts. Check that every part meets our quality standards before it's sold or reconditioned.
• Help customers. Walk the yard with customers and help them find the parts or equipment they need.
• Keep the yard organized. Help maintain a clean, organized yard where everything is easy to find.
• Handle fluids and batteries safely. Drain and store fluids and remove batteries following environmental and safety procedures.
• Maintain yard equipment. Keep forklifts, yard tractors, and other equipment fueled, checked, and running right.

• Basic mechanical knowledge of agricultural equipment. You know your way around a tractor.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and to climb, bend, and kneel throughout the day.
• Comfort working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• A safety-first mindset and a team-player attitude.

• Can operate a forklift, yard tractor, or company vehicles
• Have experience looking up parts in a computer parts program

• Starting at $18/hour and up, based experience
• Steady Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–5pm), with weekends off
