Foreman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Construction Labor & Trades

We are seeking laborers and skilled workers on a large job site. The role involves supporting the installation of lower containments.

• Spotting trucks to help unload materials and ensure efficient flow of operations.
• Directing traffic on-site and maintaining safety protocols.
• Cleaning up work areas to ensure a tidy and safe environment.
• Directing forklift operations and placing cones for guidance.
• Assisting skilled laborers in various tasks related to construction.

• Comfortable working on large job sites.
• Proficiency in using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Experience in construction, assembly, and blueprint reading.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

• Experience as a fabrication welder, carpenter, or steel worker (steel erector) is highly desirable.

Work hours are from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with initial 8-hour days potentially transitioning to 12-hour days. The dress code includes wearing jeans and steel-toed or composite footwear. The project involves constructing lower containments, creating a secure enclosure around servers, and requires no travel. A per diem is available for travelers.

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfax, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
