The Assistant Coach will assist the head coach in recruitment and retention of a full competitive roster, uphold IVCCD, ICCAC, and NJCAA rules, support student‑athletes’ development, coordinate travel and game schedules, manage equipment, and assist with game day operations.

• Assist the head coach in creating an environment that supports successful recruitment and retention of student‑athletes, and aids their academic success.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, schedule games, and manage game day operations.
• Manage program budget for equipment and uniforms, oversee inventory and maintenance of team/college gear, and facilitate fundraising activities.
• Ensure compliance with all IVCCD, ICCAC and NJCAA regulations.
• Drive teams to sporting events as required.
• Assist the Housing Department and attend IVCCD and ICCAC meetings as needed.

Associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s preferred. Experience in college coaching and scholarship management is preferred.

Effective oral and written communication with a diverse student population; ability to organize multiple priorities and job duties; knowledge of general office procedures and protocols.
