Description:
Serve as a central contact point for both truck drivers and customers, coordinating the delivery process. In this fast-paced job, dispatchers are responsible for scheduling and monitoring multiple trucks, customers, drivers, and routes.

Job Responsibilities- Scheduling drivers to make material deliveries
- Communicating with customers and sale’s personnel about material details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests
- Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed
- Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times
- Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply
- Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints
- Preparing documents and generating invoices
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Transportation Management Software
- Experience in customer service
Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws - Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Monday – Friday
- 40 hours/week
