Warehouse Associate

We are looking for agile, customer-focused, and growth-minded people to join our Shipping Team who are constantly seeking to accomplish great things for our business, customers, and each other. We emphasize cross-training to stay agile. All team members begin their training in Small Pack and remain until a satisfactory knowledge of our products is acquired. We have a wide range of products tied to our US Cargo Control, Fasteners Plus, and Ecofoil brands.

• Hours: Full-time:
  Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm;
  Monday – Thursday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, Sunday, 7:00am - 3:30pm;
  Monday – Friday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm
• Starting Pay: Full-time: $15 - $18/hr based on experience; 2nd shift Full-time: $16 - $19/hr based on experience
• Contribute outside core areas as part of cross-training
• Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times

• Accuracy and quality in order picking, packing, auditing, inventory, and ERP processes
• Operate within Small Pack, Receiving & Inventory, and LTL focus areas as defined below
• Perform other duties as assigned as the team grows

• Small Pack
  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently according to picking lists
  • Audit orders for accuracy
  • Pack orders securely and neatly for shipping
  • Fulfill the order in the ERP
• Receiving & Inventory
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and organization
  • Perform quality checks on incoming products and check-in accurately to ensure product is available to ship
  • Down stock and replenish bins proactively using FIFO
  • Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize loss
• LTL
  • Follow SOPs for picking, packing, and shipping all orders
  • Verify and maintain records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment
  • Load items for shipment to 3rd party distribution

Equipment:
Ability to learn/operate powered industrial equipment, such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.
