Temporary Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Location: Spirit Lake, IA

Compensation: $23.98 per hour - paid weekly

Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Temporary Material Handlers for a manufacturing company in Spirit Lake, IA. In this role, you'll help keep production running efficiently by ensuring materials are delivered where they're needed, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations. If you enjoy a hands-on, fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.

• Transport materials to production work cells and replenish inventory using Kanban processes
• Move finished goods from production areas to the warehouse and complete documentation accurately
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments and manage deliveries
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy within SAP
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Organize warehouse materials, maintain aisles, and support 5S workplace standards
• Assist with recycling, mailroom duties, and other warehouse support tasks as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of material handling or inventory control experience preferred
• Ability to operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks and obtain internal certification
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift and lift up to 75 pounds
• Reliable transportation and a dependable attendance record
