- Develop comprehensive design concepts, including space planning, materials selection, and custom furniture design.
- Source furnishings, finishes, and hardware; create concepts for custom furniture pieces.
- Prepare detailed, professional drawing sets (CAD, Sketch Up) for construction and furniture fabrication.
- Generate proposals for all materials, furnishings, and accessories.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and sub‑contractors to ensure design intent is accurately executed on site.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain quality control.
- Participate in client meetings, presenting design ideas, materials, and progress updates with professionalism and poise.
- Maintain relationships with high‑end trade showrooms, custom fabricators, and artisans.
- Serve as a polished representative of the firm.
- Oversee the project budget and manage the procurement process with the purchasing team.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a high‑end residential design firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
- Familiarity with construction timelines and project management workflows.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated aesthetics and technical ability.
- Knowledge of historical and contemporary furniture, art, and architectural styles.
- Proven ability to select, specify, and manage complex, multi‑layered material palettes.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD for construction documentation.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for concept boards and presentations.
- Strong working knowledge of Sketch Up or Revit for visualization.
- Experience with studio management software (e.g., Studio Designer).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
