The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer to oversee and enhance manufacturing workflows for advanced RF connectors and cable assemblies. You will partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to deliver continuous improvements that make a real impact, providing a platform to develop your expertise in RF and electromechanical manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for RF connectors and cable assembly production.
- Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions, flow diagrams, and production routings.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring manufacturability through collaboration with design and development teams.
- Evaluate and improve production methods to boost efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Select and specify production equipment, tooling, and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve technical issues and process deviations.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem‑solving tools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, MIL‑STD, ISO 9001, and AS9100.
- Lead or contribute to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Train production staff on assembly techniques, process changes, and technical requirements.
Must‑Have
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production or process engineering, ideally within RF, cable assembly, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of RF connector types (SMA, N‑Type, MMCX) and coaxial cable types.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with assembly standards such as IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and MIL‑STD specifications.
- Experience with CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD) and ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice‑to‑Have
Skills:
- Hands‑on experience with crimping, soldering, stripping, and RF testing processes.
- Knowledge of RF test equipment such as VNAs and network analyzers.
- Experience in AS9100 or ISO 9001‑certified manufacturing environments.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or practical training.
