Shop Hand – Ipswich, MA

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday

D&D Manufacturing in Ipswich, MA is looking for a reliable Shop Hand to support daily operations across their precision machining facility. This position is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a machine shop environment and learn directly from skilled CNC machinists.

You’ll help keep the shop running smoothly by handling materials, assisting with setups, maintaining equipment, and performing general shop support duties.

• Handle materials and manage shop inventory
• Operate forklifts and move parts or raw materials safely
• Clean, organize, and maintain equipment to ensure a safe work environment
• Assist machinists with setups, tool changes, and part handling
• Perform light assembly and deburring tasks
• Pick up and deliver parts or materials to local customers (valid driver’s license required)

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred (not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working around CNC machines, tools, and shop equipment
• Valid driver’s license (required for pickups/deliveries)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills
