Seasonal Breakfast Server

The Trustees of Reservations invites you to apply for a seasonal part‑time role serving breakfast at The Inn at Castle Hill in Ipswich, MA. This position is open from April through November, requiring 12–20 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

As the Breakfast Server, you are primarily responsible for serving breakfast, maintaining the dining room and pantry, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Breakfast is served daily from 8 am to 10 am. You will set up and break down the dining room, serve each guest table, bus and reset all tables, mop, vacuum, and keep the area organized. Ideal candidates are flexible and can commit to 12–20 hours per week.

A typical shift is 7:30 am – 12 pm.

Specifically, you’ll
  • Serve breakfast and beverages to inn guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inn’s dining room and pantry
  • Assist the breakfast cook with kitchen cleanliness
  • Wash dishes, glasses, silverware
  • Do laundry, including napkins and tablecloths
Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs with or without accommodation
  • Must be able to climb stairs (no elevator in the building)
  • Current authorization to work in the United States—must have this by first day of employment
  • Approved criminal background (CORI) check
