Pure are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, supporting colleagues, and being involved in a wide range of transactional accounting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing
Supplier portal and supplier statement reconciliations
Reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports
Assisting credit control with chasing aged debt
Payroll processing, company pensions and VAT returns
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
Providing support and mentoring to other members of the finance team

We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
You will ideally have:

Strong experience across accounts payable and receivable
Previous experience using accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel
Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
