Working Arrangements

Full Time (35 Hour Week) | Hybrid Working

I'm working with a growing and ambitious independent accountancy practice in Ipswich that is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant as part of its continued expansion.

This is a varied and client-facing role where you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, prepare accounts and tax returns, review junior staff work and provide support and guidance to both clients and colleagues. • Prepare company accounts and corporation tax returns
• Prepare personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and build strong relationships
• Review work completed by junior team members
• Support and manage junior members of staff
• Provide assistance and guidance on accounting software
• Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies and business matters

• Minimum of 5 years  experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff development
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
