This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to join a lovely, friendly company based in beautiful surroundings and what an interesting position this is!
The company works alongside construction companies to help identify any risks posed by explosives on land earmarked for new developments. You will delve into the history of the land to see what it has been used for over the years and consider whether there could be unexploded ordnance.
If you have an interest in history and excellent administration skills and attention to detail, this role could be for you.
Responsibilities- Mainly undertake site-specific historic research into land, collating facts and analysing findings.
- Create a formal report of your findings.
- Assist in the preparation of Risk Assessment reports.
- Interest or degree in History is helpful, but not essential; proven administration experience is important.
- Excellent eye for detail; professional and enquiring when dealing with customers and people who assist in research.
- Research experience is beneficial; enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and strong IT skills are essential.
Just a little note: due to where the role is located, you will need your own car.
We are open here and the right personality is absolutely key; it isn’t a run-of-the-mill role. It’s a lovely and long-standing business with a very interesting role. The office environment is positive and the team are friendly. Typical hours are 9am – 5pm, with excellent holiday entitlement.
