Health Business Centre Advisor

About the Role

The Health Business Centre (HBC) is a countywide service providing central coordination for Health & Children's Centre performance indicators, alongside Health Visiting and School Nursing administration. The HBC also acts as a key point of contact for children, young people, families, and partner agencies. We are looking for a proactive and organised Health Business Centre Advisor to join our busy team.

You will support the delivery of a countywide duty service, responding to telephone calls, emails, and written communications, while providing a high standard of administrative support to help achieve service performance targets.

The service operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Main Purpose of the Role

To provide high-quality administrative and customer support to children, young people, families, and partner agencies, ensuring effective communication, accurate record keeping, and timely signposting to appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information, advice, and signposting to relevant services
  • Respond professionally to calls, emails, and written communications
  • Maintain accurate records and quality data
  • Support teams in achieving service performance targets
  • Use IT systems and electronic information sources effectively

    Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
  • Promote a strengths-based approach consistent with Signs of Safety
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
  • Experience in administration, customer service, health, or social care is desirable
