Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join a busy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a small team, supporting a range of financial and property functions while ensuring accurate processing of data and documentation.

The successful candidate must be a driver with access to their own vehicle, as the role may involve occasional travel for business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan invoices, create transactions, code and submit for authorisation
• Support data entry tasks related to financial transactions and record keeping
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Sage, Xero and Excel.
• Manage and update financial data within internal systems
• Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for internal review

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software including Excel, Sage and Xero
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience with accounts payable and financial record management
• Full UK driving licence
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes
• Ability to adapt to different systems, processes, and business needs
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
