Position: Vehicle Technician (Motor/Car)
Find Core are thrilled to be assisting an established automotive dealership with the recruitment of a Car Technician . Permanent, full-time position based in Ipswich . Salary Competitive basic salary, depending on qualifications and experience  monthly productivity bonus  qualification payments  paid overtime This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join a well-established Honda dealership offering manufacturer training, clear technical progression and Monday-to-Friday working with no weekends .

Key Responsibilities Carry out Honda servicing and routine vehicle maintenance. Complete MOT testing in line with current standards. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs. Undertake mechanical and electrical repair work. Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer standards. Carry out brake, steering and suspension repairs. Undertake timing belt, clutch and engine work. Complete vehicle health checks using digital reporting systems. Prepare approved used vehicles for sale.

Carry out road testing where required. Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship and safety. Skills & Experience Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Current MOT Tester licence – Class 4 is preferred Previous experience within a franchised dealership or independent workshop. Strong diagnostics and fault-finding ability. Good mechanical and electrical repair knowledge. Full UK driving licence.

Honda experience is welcome but not essential , as full manufacturer training is provided. What’s on Offer Competitive basic salary based on qualifications and experience. Monthly productivity bonus.
