Children's Residential Support Worker

We are looking for passionate Children’s Support Workers who are available to work on a flexible basis.

As a Children’s Support Worker you will work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care at all times and support the young person's emotional wellbeing. You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

• Provide high standard of care to young persons and support their emotional wellbeing.
• Work as part of a team to maximise service users’ choices, rights and decisions.
• Assist in safeguarding and protecting vulnerable adults/children in line with SCR Social Care policies.

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working in a similar setting.
• Empathetic, non‑judgemental and calm people person.
• Dedicated and committed with a “can‑do” attitude.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.

• Excellent rates of pay and additional supplements.
• Flexible working hours.
