We are now recruiting for a Senior Youth Mentor to join our team and help us achieve these values.

• Support & Develop the Team
  :
  Assist the Team Leader in motivating, inspiring, and training staff to build confidence and professional skills.
• Lead by Example
  :
  Demonstrate integrity, compassion, and professionalism, setting a positive tone in the home.
• Provide Keyworker Support
  :
  Act as a Lead Keyworker
  , ensuring therapeutic sessions are engaging, creative, and tailored to each child’s development.
• Oversee Daily Operations
  :
  Step in for the Team Leader when required, ensuring a smooth‑running, well‑supported home environment.
• Create a Safe & Nurturing Environment
  :
  Work alongside your team to provide trauma‑informed care that helps children heal and grow.
• Safeguarding & Compliance
  :
  Prioritise child welfare by identifying safeguarding matters and responding swiftly.
• Build Relationships
  :
  Engage with families, local authorities, and external professionals to provide holistic care.
• On‑Call Support
  :
  Be part of the on‑call duty system, offering assistance as needed to ensure the home is well‑supported.

• Have previous experience in a care or support role, ideally with mentoring or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for supporting and empowering young people.
• The ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• A desire to work within a compassionate and ethical care environment.
