Project​/Senior Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join our commercial team on a significant large‑scale residential development in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven surveying professional to play a key commercial role on a flagship project, working with an established and supportive team.

• Manage all commercial aspects of assigned residential packages
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials in line with programme requirements
• Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting
• Manage subcontract accounts, variations, and payment processes
• Work closely with the operational team to ensure cost‑effective delivery
• Support the commercial lead with project financial strategy and risk management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and commercial best practice
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

• Experience as a Project Surveyor or Senior Surveyor within residential construction
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple work packages
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Able to work proactively and independently within a team environment
• Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience
• Experience on multi‑unit residential schemes is highly desirable
