An established and growing main contractor operating nationally across multiple construction sectors is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. The role offers the opportunity to take commercial ownership of complex, high-value projects and play a key role in driving financial performance and project success.

The business delivers technically challenging schemes across earthworks, civils, infrastructure and demolition, including city-centre developments, major transport interfaces, and projects requiring detailed planning and risk management.

• Lead the commercial management of large-scale construction projects from pre-contract through to final account
• Oversee cost control, forecasting, valuations, and financial reporting to ensure commercial targets are met
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Manage and mitigate commercial and contractual risk
