An Assistant CDM Principal Designer role with a growing building safety team in Ipswich, Suffolk. Working across commercial, hotel and mixed-sector projects, you will support CDM Principal Designer duties while developing practical construction health and safety knowledge. Role & Responsibilities
Support CDM Principal Designer duties
Assist with design risk reviews
Review project information and risks
Attend stakeholder meetings
Support reports and project documentation
You will work closely with senior team members, contributing to compliance activities and developing technical CDM knowledge across varied project work.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 2+ years' construction experience
Construction health and safety knowledge
Strong communication skills
Understanding of design stages
Proactive team-based approach
Applicants should be able to manage workload priorities, maintain attention to detail and show an interest in developing a long-term CDM career.
