The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Manage the commercial aspects of highways projects across Suffolk and the surrounding region.
Prepare cost forecasts, valuations, and financial reports.
Administer subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to maximise value.
Support contract administration in line with NEC forms of contract.
Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
Previous exposure to highways, highways maintenance, or major civil engineering projects.
A good understanding of NEC contracts.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualifications.
