Customer Service Support Coordinator

Full time, permanent

We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Customer Service Support team. You'll have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach, supporting internal and external customers while ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently, accurately, and within KPI targets. At MSC UK, you'll be part of a team where you can develop, grow, and make a real impact.

How you will help us and what you can expect

  • Accurate and timely processing of letters of indemnity, re-export bookings, change of destinations, Customer Service Audits and admin related tasks in line with agreed KPIs
  • Manage own workload and communicating effectively with polite telephone manner to resolve queries
  • Maintain information on internal systems such as OVA and the MyMSC platform
  • Contribute to team meetings/ discussions, to improve internal processes and the service being delivered to our customers
  • Ensure a high level customer experience by providing timely and polite client assistance, in line with expected standards
  • Build relationships with teams throughout MSC
  • Ensure full recovery of all applicable costs
  • Assist other team members on the Customer Services Support Team as and when required

Skills and experience you'll bring to us

  • Maintain good relationships with Customers, Trade Teams, MSC Geneva, UK and Overseas offices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • A Strong focus on working within a team, to achieve a common goal
  • Compliance with MSC's email etiquette and telephone policy
  • Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Packages and Excel
  • Attention to detail to minimise errors and loss to MSC
  • Ability to prioritise personal workloads and meet critical deadlines
