Dental Therapist

Lighthouse Dental Practice is seeking a passionate clinical educator and dental therapist to join our growing team in Ipswich, Suffolk on a part‑time basis. The primary focus of this role will be supporting university student placements and clinical education as well as dental therapy sessions from this October.

• Provide high-quality dental therapy treatments including preventive care, restorative procedures, and oral health education.
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform scaling and polishing, fissure sealants, and simple restorative work.
• Administer local anaesthesia and provide pain management as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure integrated patient care.

• Full registration with the General Dental Council
• Diploma or degree in Dental Therapy

• Registration with GDC
• Mentor new team members and support their professional development

• Lead continuing professional development initiatives within the practice
