Join as a full‑time Consultant Histopathologist at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, based at Colchester Hospital and Ipswich Hospital.

Applicants must have completed CCT or equivalent (Portfolio Pathway) and be on the Specialist Register. If, for personal reasons, you are unable to work full‑time, a suitable modification of duties may be considered.

The Gold Welcome Package includes a relocation allowance up to £8,000, an additional £20,000 lump sum, and 1.5 years of additional ‘SPA’ time for the first 12 months. Conditions will apply.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the departmental rota for routine surgical pathology reporting and dissection.
• Attend MDTs according to rostering and clinical need.
• Participate in the MDT cancer care structure and assume leadership for cell pathology in at least one MDT, according to the postholder’s interests and the department’s needs in consultation with existing consultant colleagues.
• Refer specialist cases to appropriate referral centres for reporting.
