About the Role
A dynamic and supportive secondary school in Ipswich is seeking a talented Design & Technology Teacher to join their department immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to teach within a school that values practical learning, creativity, and applied problem‑solving across the curriculum.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering DT lessons to KS3/KS4 covering a curriculum that includes practical workshop skills, design software, resistant materials, and user‑focused design principles. The department encourages exploration and iterative design, helping students grow in confidence as they test, adjust, and refine their ideas.
You will play an active role in supporting GCSE coursework, leading practical demonstrations and ensuring all workshop environments meet safety expectations. Technician support is strong and resources are regularly updated to maintain a modern and responsive learning environment.
